Aggregate & Material Testing

Our certified testing facility conducts laboratory checks on all basalt materials and services before dispatch. The tests verify physical properties to ensure reliability:

  • Aggregate Impact Value (AIV): Confirms resistance to sudden shock loads.
  • Aggregate Crushing Value (ACV): Measures dry strength limits under static loads.
  • Flakiness & Elongation Indexes: Confirms cubical shape factor, preventing thin stones.
  • Silt & Decantation Test: Ensures M-Sand and double-washed sand remain silt-free.

Screening & Grading Process

To ensure consistent grain distribution, our plant utilizes multi-deck vibratory screens. Sieve tests are performed during active shifts to keep particle gradings within nominal limits:

  • Concrete Aggregates (20mm, 10mm): Graded to prevent voids in structures.
  • Plastering Sands (Cone Sand): Sorted to ensure a smooth plaster finish.
  • Granular Sub-Base (GSB): Blended to support highway subgrades.

Service & Material Standards Compliance

Our stone materials and services are manufactured to comply with national codes and engineering benchmarks:

  • IS 383:2016: Specifications for aggregates in structural concrete.
  • MORTH Specifications: Density and drainage standards for sub-bases.
  • IRC Guidelines: Grading curves for national highway construction.

Site Safety Guidelines

In accordance with DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety) codes, we follow quarry safety principles:

  • Mandatory PPE suites for all quarry crews.
  • Daily safety checks on heavy loaders and dumpers.
  • Regular dust suppression sprays across all screening zones.
  • Yearly safety drills for excavation teams.
